Luke's 1st Birthday

It's official. Luke is ONE!

Luke's alligator cake. Good thing I'll get years and years more of practice.

We had Swamp Soup (Chicken Tortellini Spinach Soup) and Snake Eye Salad (Fruit salad with grapes) for dinner. Dorky, I know but I had to go with a Jungle theme.

Billy drinking the bowl clean. He loved the "swamp"...uh, Chicken Tortellini Spinach Soup

Waiting patiently to open presents..

Thanks Chris for the cars.... the boys loved them!

Apparently matchbox cars are also edible

Thanks Luke family! Can you tell he loved it from first sight?

Patiently waiting for Daddy to finish reading the card.

"Reading" his new book. Thanks Grandma Carol for the packages full of gifts. Luke loves them all I'm sure :)

If you've ever wondered what Luke looks like when he talks to you on the phone- here it is!!

The little cake Cliff made Luke. Yeah, purple frosting. Good one daddy!

He really dug in and wasn't worried at all about getting dirty. Much different from Billy's first birthday.

Picked up the whole cake

Luke got really thirsty but refused to let go of the cake :)

Luke "looking up" to Cliff.

Daddy and cake, two things that make Lukie happy.

Picking (and eating) cake crumbs out of the bathtub.

Mmm....watered down birthday cake.

Luke crawled up behind Daddy to see what he was missing.

The boys are reading a story together.

New haircut, can you believe my big boy??

Sharing his cracker
